Renfrew County Gathering- First Anniversary of the jury’s verdict in the CKW Inquest.
This past June, the DART Coordinator went to Petawawa, Ontario and joined Luke’s Place and many other violence against women organizations throughout Ontario in Renfrew County on the first anniversary of the CKW (Carol Culleton, Anastasia Kuzyk and Nathalie Warmerdam) femicide inquest. The group participated in an evening and two days of exciting conversations, keynotes, panels and small-group activities to enhance advocacy and media engagement.
The group also took part in a community vigil at the Women’s Monument to honour victims of femicide and to reflect on the progress of the inquest recommendations.

Take Back the Night
On September 22, 2022, DART Community Coordinator, Laura Moscatiello and Voices of Courage Survivor Panel members attended the Take Back the Night event which stands behind survivors of sexual violence, relationship and domestic violence in all forms.The event was hosted by Georgian College, Orangeville Campus.
